Got off the phone with KA a little earlier. I was feeling pretty good because I just finished painting the kitchen and living room- a solid 3 day process. I'm a heck of a cutter, or so KA tells me to keep me painting. She helped some as well...this time.
Anyways, KA talked with Ethan, the hospice nurse and case manager for Pops. He called KA to say that the way Pops was declining he was hoping he would be here for his Celebration of Life Party. He has labored breathing with little activity and Pops says he just feels "drained". Ethan deals with end of life on a daily basis with patients so I go with his judgement on death timelines far more than my own. It was just that a week ago Ethan said he could be here awhile. Now he said he is presenting with end of life symptamatology. He did also say, that he could "rally" again. I know that no one except God knows what he has in store for Pops timeline here on this planet- but the point being is that if anyone really wants to see Lone Star or talk to him give him a call or set up a time to stop by. He could be here for months or who knows.
