Pics will be upcoming on events. Find it a pain to organize pics with blogs. Also irritated that I just wrote for 20 minutes and somehow it did not save and went blank.
Went and saw Dr Jones yesterday with Lone Star and EE. Ironic thing is that Dr Jones was very proud of how he was doing and stated we were on the right track. This was mainly due my whole redirection of how he was doing when he met him. Pops came into the visit labile and a bit confused of the whole process. He said he was having trouble keeping track of his meds and KA and I both find pills on the floor that he drops when we go over. They have great street value- as the Doc says. As I have told him, your on heavy medications. You are taking enough meds that you feel numb and get confused and/ or lethargic at times. Dr Jones did reinterate this point when we went over the medications that he has been taking consistently. As of this morning, KA set up a pill box and we will both call twice daily to see what is going on at medtime.
Plan is now for Adele to come in on Sunday. So next week we will get them routed over to The Cottages and set up residence. KA went with my mom and they bought a Queen mattress set that will squeeze in the room that is the bedroom. Cathy A has also taken Mom shopping for mattresses as well and has been a great asset in the transition. This, as stated previously, will be a good solution at this time. Grading on function will determine outcomes of the follow up plan.
Plan for tomorrow is for The Lone Star and EE to come to Coral Desert and I will help them get in so Pops can use the pool. He needs a wheelchair to do this effectively at this time. The after plan is to go to Chuck A Rama because EE loves fish Friday. We haven't done this in weeks and she wants to take me there for my birthday. My dream, Chuck A Rama for a birthday. We will celebrate Millie's B Day on this day. My Grandmother will be 104 on 9/12 and she is an awesome lady. I wish I could hug her on this day after seeing her this summer. She is an awesome lady. Late.
