Lone Star and his Girls

Yes, with the help of Tracy at work (and her daughter) I have learned to put music on the blog, put pictures somewhere other than the right side, and also to space the titles on the posts. I warned you, I will be "blogger guy" in no time. You will look for my "compilations of greatest blogs" in a bookstore near you. Thanks Tracy!!!
This blog is actually about Lone Star and all his girls. He has numerous females at his beckon call and I am a little concerned that he might be "faking it" just to get the female attention. First of all is "EE", or his wife, Eileen, for those that don't know. She has had M.S. complications for years but is doing pretty well at attending to his basic needs: companionship, meal prep, driving, snuggling, and of course: eye candy.
There are many other gals in Pops life: His daughter, my sister, Adele, is most obvious as a family link and when she is here she dotes on both my parents and alleviates KA and myself's responsiblity immensely. I only wish I could be a part of those pedicures that her and EE go on. Our only concerns when she is here are their new medical needs so that we can necessiate changes in his care if necessary.
KA is their everyday gal that helps them both and caters to Pops. I've stated previously how she goes by every morning during the week and cooks meals for them. She also is good at facilitating communication of their new concerns and is very helpful in gettting the ball rolling on their needs- whether it be renewing meds or doing a social thing. She is also good at making sure that Pops stays active- he always feels good after his Coral Desert pool treatments and a lot of mornings he needs to be coaxed to make the effort.
Cathy A is great with my parents- I have also stated this previously but she continues to do the little things that help my parents stay connected and be a part of the St George community. Today she went by after work and showed the upgrades I hed made to the blog. She did this on her own- I didn't ask her to or say "would you please check on my parents...". My parents are so grateful for her and her giving of herself because they still have a limited umbrella of folks in the area- with their church affiliates and friends. I could call Cathy any time and say "My parents" and she would say "yes" before even hearing what I was asking her to do. She is a blessing to my parents and also to our family as a friend.
Lorraine has stepped up the sweet factor in Pops ans EE's life. I went to their house today to make sandwiches for my kids (Football practice started) and all my mom could talk about was a blueberry and sour cream pie. I hope that's the right combo. Maybe she said cream cheese. KA tells me all the time that I don't listen and don't communicate. I think she's right about my effort in that area. It was blueberry though. She has taken a personal concern in their well being and that makes me happy as a longtime friend of hers. I hope I can repay her somehow/ someday.
Hilda is the gal that works at Coral Desert Rehabilitation as the lead housekeeper. She speaks limited English but has a heart of gold. She goes by my parents home and cleans like "Mr Clean" on metamphetamine- minus the bald head. Kid you not, she will take 30 minutes to clean an unused shower in their townhome. She also hugs my parents and treats them like they were long lost family. I would eat sushi off the shower floor when she is done (if it was prepared right).
There are others that I am missing from their church, or nurses at doctors offices or from wherever. The whole point being, Pops and EE are at a limited status at this time in their life. If it wasn't for the ancillary help that KA and I were getting it would be a daunting task to stay ahead of their medical, social, religious and therapeutic needs. It is all greatly appreciated...
