Hospice Time
Started Lone Star on hospice yesterday. Holiday is over and family is gone so it was decided to get him on it since he has been miserable the last 3 days. Only real change with meds is hiogh doses of ibuprofen 3 times daily and using roxynol (liquid morphine) for breakthrough pain instead of percocet. He had a good night last night, per report from EE, so we'll see.

So sorry to hear about your old man's battle, but it is obvious from the photos that he has all of the love and support one could ever want. My heart goes out to you and your family, but on a positive note, my mother is a bladder and skin cancer survivor going on her 20th year in remission with only two follow up surgeries since the first (the last being 6 years ago); prayer and hope do make a difference.
