Gearing Up For The Holidays

I am going to download pictures tonight of the big Christmas party that we had last night at the BeeHive Home. A rockin event was had by all and still in bed by 8:30. Life continues with Noah starting basketball this week- practices anyway. I am coaching him and we will see how they shape up. It is a lot easier than coaching football and much less stressful. I do enjoy it though.

Updates: EE went with KA to the Instacare 2 nights ago. UTI. She has already started to bounce back and is mobile again as of yesterday.

We are having Hospice Alliance come on Friday to do their song and dance about their program. The lady from Zions Way was a little off and did not impress- at least did not impress me. I have a friend who I thought worked for Zions Way but instead he works for Home Alliance and we will most likely go this way.Plan is still to wait till the first of the year as all his meds and junk are paid for via Medicare at this time.

We are planning a CELEBRATION OF LIFE PARTY for lone Star in February. I will talk about it more but I am trying to get a Saturday date in February for any friends/ family to come out and wish John well in his last part of his journey. He has stated he does not want a funeral and wants to be cremated. He would rather have folks come out to this party and enjoy them while he can. Once a date is set we will post it. This will be quickly as I know if people need to get tickets the sooner the better.

I'll get pics on tonight and hope all are having a joyous season so far as we start into Christmas. Let's remember the real reason of Christmas and think of others in need- especially those hit with recession and job losses.....Matt
